Z-N Tuning Rules

11/11/2011 9:21 AM

All may be familiar with the Z-N tuning rules. But how Zeiglar and Nichols have arrived at those rules??? I mean how they found out the formulas for tuning parameters for the P,PI and PID controllers?? If this is self-studying topic please recommend the site. Thanks.
