in case of anti-bonding and bonding molecular orbitals, the overlapping of atomic orbitals takes place. the overlapping of two atomic orbitals gives two molecular orbitals, two atomic orbitals overlap constructively and forms one molecular orbital. now,from where other two atomic orbitals are coming to overlap destructively and forming anti-bonding orbital.
