How is the section of a bloom calculated for a particular size of bloom, channel or angle rolling?

Calculations are made from bloom to finished dimension using a developed spread formula based on the Wusatowski\264s spread formula, applied on the Lendl\264s method of equivalent rectangles.

GA for the the input. The first one is more about learning than rolling. Second one is about billet and bar mill. Similar information about structural may be more useful to OP. You may also please comment on my thread "Minimization of Short Lengths in Rolled Steel".

Vbloom > Vemerging piece(s). (Maybe 10% bigger just in case?)

I have encountered with a loss of 3 to 4% by weight for rolling medium size structurals from bloom.
