Difference Between Single and Three Phase

what is actually the basic difference between single and three phase loadflow...?

They are basically the same...usually done with software program...these will give you an idea...

Single phase is used for small loads and 3phase for large loads. In single phase the current consumed will be high but in 3phase it will be low for the same load thereby conductor skin effect will be low. For motors 3phase is more efficient than single phase
