This syllabus do not include the basics like wiring systems,components,tools,instruments,current ratings of cables,capacity of conduits,how to select the type of cable,design of an installation(wiring),switchboards,earthing,surge protection,testing,tracing faults in control circuits,electrical wiring diagrams,sizing a motor/generator,selection of starters ,earth monitoring,rules,codes,regulations,standards,electrical safety, protective clothing&tools,first aid,fire prevention/protection etc without which we went to work in 1960s and suffered a lot. We learnt from electricians. Nowadays a lot of resources like books,periodicals,internet are available to the younger generation,they should make use.
