Nocolok Flux powder

04/30/2007 8:06 AM

In one of the processes on our shop floor, we use Nocolok flux powder in a fluxing chamber. I recently mounted a camera in the flux chamber to monitor for flux gun blockages. Unfortunately the abrasice action of the powder has rendered the camera lens useless.

So my question is this... Are there any transparent plastics that would be capable of resisting the abrasion of the powder?

NOCOLOK Flux is a eutectic mixture of potassium fluoro aluminates of low solubility.: K (x) Al (y) F(z), with KAlF4 the predominant compound.

Thanks for your help in advance

Alan
