differential pressure= differential pressure

delta P= pressure difference

The terms are sometimes used interchangeably, but that is imprecise. "Delta" implies change within a single flow stream, such as pressure or temperature of a fluid as it passes through a heat exchanger. "Difference" can be between two media, or two levels of a static liquid, without implying change.

Change of pressure or temperature is abbreviated ΔP or ΔT, respectively.
Pressure or temperature difference/differential is abbreviated DP or DT.
