Piezoelectric Transformer and Its Manufacturer

01/08/2012 8:59 PM

Hello Friends

I want to try those Piezoelectric Transformer for high voltage isolation and looking for some manufacturer of Piezoelectric Transformers who can produce energy transfer element of 4" and above.

Has anyone tried such device?

I need minimum 30kV isolation with Corona leakage less than 1nC. This limits minimum distance and insulation design requirement. I am looking for 60W energy transfer.

Micromechanics does not manufacture isolated Peizetransformer elements.

What I am looking for is two separate isolated elements coupled with mechanical motion and electrically insulated link.

Transformers to be used requires high frequency switching to 25kHz and above and ultra low capacitance link between primary and secondary for high isolation. Device should also transfer 30W to 60W energy to become usable. Some application may just require few watts.
