Allen Bradley control (parameters)

01/10/2012 11:48 AM

We have lost parameters on an 8200 Allen Bradley CNC clyindrical grinder. Can anyone help restore them?

Where in the Universe is this grinder?

It sounds as though the memory backup battery is dud and there has been a mains power outage during its dud-time. True? Has the battery been changed since?

There is a written record of the parameters elsewhere, isn't there? What's preventing someone re-entering them?

Has someone called Allen Bradley local Technical Support? If not, why not? If the call has been made, why is the response so unacceptable as to require a posting in this forum instead?

Grinder in Minnesota. No, we do not have a written record of parameters. Allen Bradley has not yet responded.

CNC ZONE may be a more appropriate forum to post your question. Luck

Sorry for your loss. Old adage I have always used and I will share again, "Back up as often as you do not want to type back in" !

Good Luck!
