HELO FRIENDS

CAN I USE MAGFLOW FOR THE MEASUREMENT FLOW OF STEAM AND ANY OTHER GASES. PLS TELL ME REASONS.

Mag flow meters only work with electrically conductive liquids.

The principle of operation for any magnetic flowmeter is based upon Faraday's Law, which states that the voltage induced across any conductor as it moves at right angles through a magnetic field is proportional to the velocity of that conductor.

Yep. What they ↑ said. Steam and gases do not conduct sufficient electricity for one to work. As far as steam is concerned, it probably goes above the instrument's maximum operating temperature.

The modern way is the vortex-shedding flowmeter.

Don't go differential-pressure-across-and-orifice-plate - they are just sooooo 1973.
