NGR

From DG star point to NGR one end we are using 1CX70 sqmm and from other end to earthpit we are using 1CX6 sqmm, though it is single line ckt why two different sqmm cable used?

Is it because the prospective fault current is different each side of the NGR? What does the original design calculation say, and why has it not been posted for the forum to review?

Grossly incorrect to use two grossly different sizes of conductors in a series circuit. What is the voltage rating, the kVA Rating of the DG Set and the NGR rating?

But it is given in design DG Rating is 300 kVA and NGR 470 Ohm. So please clarify why two different size conductors used in a series circuit (On each side of the NGR. From DG to NGR 1C x 70 sqmm and NGR to Neutral Earth Pit 1C x 6 sqmm). Is it because of voltage drop in ngr? Please clarify.
