Can please tell the diffenerence between orifice and flow through pipes

An orifice is a restriction. A pipe is a fluid conduit. Now, what is the question?

orifice is used for measuring the fluid while the fluid flowing through the pipes

these are working based on the bernoullies theorm

ex are current meter
