I seriously suspect that this IC is well obsolete. If you google the part number it will give you a number of parts brokers to choose from.

Despite the 555 in the part number this is actually a dual polarity tracking regulator by Signetics. A datasheet I saw said that it was in their 1978/79 catalogue. I didn't get any contempory results out of google, or searching Farnell/Element 14, or RS Components/Newark.
