Electrical Design - Designing of the Sugar Plant

Dear all,

I am working in one of the electrical designing company. like designing of the sugar plant, substation can any one tell me where i can learn the design stuff like or the government conducting short term courses any where in INDIA.

transformer sizing,

cable calculation,

layout eng, bus bar and bus duct calculation,

standards IEC and IEEE

To start with you can try this book "Design of Electrical Systems for Large Projects" - Volume I & II - by Mr. N. Balasubramanian. Since, you are from Chennai, please try at Higginbothams. Even if they don't have at stock, they will get a copy for you.
