	I'm not sure how to import TrueType font files (*.ttf) into my CMS IntelliCAD PE 4.0 drafting program. I know, the program is old (circa 2004) and a real dino, therefore I desperately need to upgrade it! But that is besides the point of why I'm asking "how do you do..." questions? Anyhow, the "TTF" file (for AlteSchwabacher-OSFDemi.ttf, a German Blackfont) that I have downloaded isn't listed in the current IntelliCAD font style pulldown list....so I desperately need to add that file to it. FYI, the Help section isn't all that supportive, and is in fact downright confusing! Typical, just like AUTOCAD and others...... Since this software is very similar to AUTOCAD, and they share common functions, does anyone know how to import new fonts? I really need the step-by-step guidance. I'm not exactly 100% CAD literate....actually I'm not much at all, but can tool around in it somewhat. I've already tried the several online IntelliCAD Forums and they are not very useful IMO. 	Well most programs allow you to add on files...When you download a file at some point you are asked where you want to store the file on your computer, find your cad program in the list, find the fonts location in the file, and add it.(note; it must be compatible) __________________ All living things seek to control their own destiny....this is the purpose of life

	If I remember correctly (it's been a while)you don't add fonts to the CAD programme, you use the Windows 'add font' feature. Once the font is loaded in Windows it should become available to the CAD system. __________________ I didn't have a really important life, but at least it's been funny (Lemmy Kilminster 1945-2015)

	Okay guys, what you've given me looks like it'll work. Many thanks! Does this mean I download the new font file into the Windows font file folder? 	It should have done that already, check your fonts to see....If not,,, try reboot first... __________________ All living things seek to control their own destiny....this is the purpose of life

	If you are like me you won't instinctively know where these font files naturally reside. To find out where they are search for any files with a .ttf extension. That will tell you pretty quick where they are. I just did that and on my PC running XP they are located at C:\WINDOWS\Fonts Copy then paste that ttf file in there. __________________ Difficulty is not an obstacle it is merely an attribute.

	I'm not sure you can just paste it in. In Windows 'control panel, fonts' there is a button to add fonts. Just save the file somewhere then use the add font function to install it. __________________ I didn't have a really important life, but at least it's been funny (Lemmy Kilminster 1945-2015)
