Speed Control on VAT 2000

02/20/2012 12:16 AM

Hi,

We have a VAT 2000 VSD of GE and I want to control speed on it using potentiometer but after setting necessary parameters motor is still running on fixed speed.

Can anybody tell me what does base frequency represents on VAT 2000?

C02-0 is set to Anoluge Fixed

C07-0 speed setting 1 is set to FSV

Do I need to change something in Sequence Input Function?

Regards

First check to make sure the VSD is properly sized, then check wiring configuration and settings...

Well I found the mistake i was making; turns out Sequence Input Function 2 does require a change in configuration;

C04-1 should be 16 to enable potentiometer signal. By default its value is 16 but it should be checked as it was zero in my case.

Thanks
