Atmega16 Programming

i need a c program to be implemented in atmega16 controller that helps count on the basis of the input signal.When there is no input to the controller first and then there is an input to it, the count value should be updated..plss help me wit tis program..i am unable to code it

There are TONS of code lines available in the Arduino forums for that controller.

http://www.adafruit.com/tutorials

Lots of coding examples in these tutorials that can help you learn and maybe even do it in a way you hadn't considered.

I see you are a brand new member and this is your first posting; could you please tell us what what you have done so far to find the answer, prior to using CR4 as a Google or Wikipedia substitute?
