What is Thermography Test. What are its areas of Applications

It's basically infrared imaging and has many uses including medical, printing, hot spot detection...

GA SolarEagle. I want to add few examples on area of application for clarity to OP.

Thermal imaging of a furnace will show hotspots which indicates weak points in the furnace (like possible damage of refrectory lining). In case of cryogenic applications, cold spots will indicate either leak of cryogenic fluid or loss of insulation.
