NGR Connections

Is ground cable from PCC(MDB) which is feeding for step up transformer(13.8kv) necessary for NGR connections?

I Found the Answer for this

First NGR Means Neutarl Ground resistor but not Narrow Guage Railway.

The neutral of 13.8kv transformer is connected to NGR and this NGR is connected to Earth.

The purpose of NGR is to protect the transformer and the MV cable from Fault current .
