Tilt Position Indicator Sender Unit (Marine Outboard)

02/29/2012 5:56 PM

Folks I am looking to make a tilt and trim unit based on the CMC PT-130 which has a sender unit inside that sends the angle position of the unit back to a gauge on the dash. I am in the UK and am looking to source a sender that does this. Any ideas as to what sensor is needed to do the same job as that CMC use? George

These guys are good. They also have good forums for boat questions. I went ahead and plugged in UK for you. It looks like you need a sender also.

Yes it is the sender I am interested in. I need to send the tilt position to a gauge which operates on a analogue voltage change between full up and full down position. A rotary or linear? waterproof to IPxx device? Low cost :-)

Did you ask the guys at iboats?

You have to register, but it's a totally safe site. The people on the forums are very helpful.
