Tanks - Silos etc.

For cylindrical tanks according to API 650 or equivalent codes, Silos etc.; which sheets are to be used cold rolled or hot rolled and why? Thanks

cold rolled steel is harder an tougher than hot rolled steel. cold rolling steel alters the molecular structure much like forging.
