Rotor Design

Hi, I'm designing an axial flux coreless synchronous generator for stand alone wind turbine. Rating is 500watts, 500rpm, 270volts. I've designed stator but I've one confusion is as follows: How does the specific magnetic loading varies with the thickness of rotor plate?

It varies directly propotional to the inverse propotional wind speed from north to south.

That only applies to generators in the northern hemisphere.

You may want to give FEMM a try- a free 2D finite element analysis for magnetic fields.
