What Are The Electrical Instruments Required To Assemble Crystal Radio?

i seen on scitoys crystal radio site,i am very eager to assemble crystal radio. idea given on that site is some what complicate. so i need electrical devices with parameter value required to assemble crystal radio which is available in market. be simple if you share idea,that is welcomed. thank you

Here is a modern day version of a superheterodyne radio. I built one in electronics class years ago and it was a blast.

That's not a bad design, can you give us a link for more detail. E.g., for the dual-ganged tuning cap and the tracking of the local oscillator with the RF tuning, etc.

A crystal, some wire (whisker+coil), and a speaker (or headphones).

That's a crystal radio.

Had one of those when I was a kid. Not very loud, but when attached to a radiator the reception and volume was good enough to listen to while falling asleep. Simple and rewarding to build as a kid.
