How to Design a Cost Effective & Eficient LED Flash Light to Eluminate Buildings

03/13/2012 12:51 PM

We noticed 8Nos 400 w metal halide lightes forcused around on 4 posts were not enough to eluminate a Pagoda of 80feet diameter. we replaced those with 4 Now 1000w metal halides in 4 locations around the pagoda and got good results. During that mission, we notised a smal toach with 1No high power LED liteup more brighter than these newly fixed 1000 w metal halides. we saw significant difference. Designing a flash light using highpower LED will give your a more briter light and it will reduce the electricity cost down to greater extent. how to desighn such flash light.

These higher powered LED lights are expensive, and are really more suited to special application...such as hard to reach areas with confined space for light mount...Some well-known HPLEDs in this category are the Lumileds Rebel Led, Osram Opto Semiconductors Golden Dragon, and Cree X-lamp....You really have to determine the lumens you want first...
