Structural mechanics

hey guys, we were given these questions in class today to give us an idea for what to expect when we receive our next coursework. I'm a bit puzzled, going over my notes and was wondering if some of you smart people could help a girl out. We aren't getting marked for this, it's just to give us an idea of what the next coursework will entail. Any help will do.. thanks tiff

That looks like a 'cheat' site to me Labguy (?). Nothing wrong with checking answers though.

The stuff may or not appear difficult to you Tiff , but there are thousands of books out there covering this . Choice is really down to what presentation style you like - some books go way over the top on detail , and some are simplistic . It's something only you can figure out by having a browse . Plenty of good educational sites exist on the web . I'll be a touch cruel by not naming any because a) I don't know without checking and b) Learning how to find useful stuff is a vital skill.

Plenty of folk will help here , if you get really stuck on a basic concept.
