Microcontroller - Solar Tracking System

Hi i am doin proj on solar tracking system. I am using LDR for detecting the sun.As the sun moves 15 degree per hr, i am usin timer for checkin the sun position. I finished doin the ldr circuit and all i need is how to program the microcontroller for tracking the sun?

If rain or cloudy condition occurs,the ldr wont function ..... after tat it regains tat sun's position... for this i need program....
