Zero Sequence Impedance Test for DELTA-STAR Transformer

03/25/2012 4:05 AM

Dear All...

As we know zero sequence impedance test is done for star-star transformers, in another words we require solid neutral at the primary side.I think we can do the same test for Star-delta transformer.

I found a DELTA (primary)-STAR (Secondary) transformer (115KV/13.8KV) with name plate indicating zero sequence impedance is 29%.How we can test zero sequence impedance for this transformer with no neutral in primary (Delta).
