Algorithm for Fault Location in 2 Parallel Lines With Different Voltage Level

03/26/2012 11:31 PM

I am currently doing my final year project on the fault location detection on multi circuit lines using the travelling wave based method. The multi circuit are made up of different voltage level in one tower.

Anyone that has experience on this can guide me? The principle for this method, the algorithm, the software that is useful and etc.

Thanks for the article. But it did not really touch about travelling wave method on the case. I still do not know how to write an algorithm for the travelling wave method to work.

Can you explain more on that method again?
