Is the serration required or not on face of ' TONGUE & GROOVE ' and ' male and female ' in flanges of ' EN 1092-1 ' and ' DIN ' ?

Dear sir,

Thank you for prompt reply. ' NO ' I consider as not required. I agree as the standard calls for finish 0.8 to 3.2 μm. There was disput between me and my customer.

Well which individual do you want to please, an anonymous blogger that can only give you the personal satisfaction of agreeing with your opinion or a customer that can pay you for your services? The choice is yours.

Don't forget, any change in a standard product should come at a higher fee. This is particularly true when one deviates from an industry standard as this customer has requested.
