The Lable Written: Input: Single phase // 230 V. // 60 Cycle (?) // 50 Amps.

Output: 225 Amps. "Max. Welding"// @25 Arc Volts//

115 Deg's C Rise // Max. O.C.V. 79 Volts//

Duty Cycle 20%

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Outlet for the Water Heater: 30 Amp's... 220 Volts... ( 30 A. Fuse.)
I never had a problem plugging my Lincoln buzz box into the dryer circuit at home.
You might want to watch the duty cycle, but for casual welding you should br fine.
Back on the farm, I've run them on a ciucuit that was 100 feet from the breaker box and had a 50 foot extension cord added to that. You just need to let things rest a lot.
If I Can't get it done this way... I'll need a 100' Extension Cord to reach the 50 amp. Outlet. ( I'm not going to replace the 30Amp. Fuse with a 50 Amp. Wires to the Fuse look considerably smaller! THANKS...
I have a similar setup, ok for 3/32" rod, wait between welds for the breakers to cool off.
hello bert, if your welding machine is 50amp you need to use 60amp or 100amp fuse to prevent circuit fuse tripping, tripping cuause by the amp rissing while your welding is in use,
WARNING THINK SAFETY !!!
