Radiographic Examination of Single Welded Joint With Backing Strip

In single sided butt weld with backing strip what is the position of film and source .The backing strip will not disturb the interpretation?

Yes, of course, is something common in the welding of the annular ring for tanks storage (API 650). But it does.
