Fuzzy Controllers

i want to know the advantages and disadvantages of FUZZY CONTROL than any other fundamental controllers?

What research have you done so far?

FUZZY CONTROL is better in the winter cause it keeps your hands warm. But there's always that shedding problem to deal with.

The advantage is that you will learn the difference between fuzzy and digital logic. The disadvantage is that you will have to do your own homework.

Fuzzy logic is something that takes a semester or two at the university level to fully understand. But a very "quick and dirty" explanation is, it is a control method that adapts itself to changing conditions. So instead of the programmer just telling the controller to execute his program, the programmer teaches the controller how he wants it to adapt itself to anomalies and changing conditions. Not quite artificial intelligence, but not predictive modeling either, hence "fuzzy".
