Relation Of Transients Fault Current With Generator Speed

Is their any relation of fault current , quadrature axis armature current with speed of running generator

A generator is a synchronous machine... but case the generator is running a bit slower or a bit faster, by the time it is connected to the grid there takes place a phenomena of "grind sincronism"... i.e. the grid freq. forces the generator to achieve that same freq...

That´s right bonez! The leakage currents that will occur between fases while synchronism is not achieved will induce forces in the rotor that oblige i´m to "fase" with the magnetic fields and thus to sinc. good boy!
