Colleagues,
Please help me set different scale for horizontal and vertical axis in ACAD 2012.
To explain, in ACAD, normally the horizontal and vertical axis have the same scale. That means, from 0,0, if grid is 1:1000, horizontally moving by 3000 units would show 3000. Likewise moving vertically by 3000 units would show 3000.
I am working on preparing a sprinkler discharge graph for fire protection system, where the building area is measured in 100's of sq.ft, ie the y-axis while the water discharge is measured in 0.01 gpm/sq.ft.
So if I go horizontally by 5 units and vertically by 5 units, the coordinate of the point should show 0.05 gpm/sq.ft horizontally and 500 sq.ft vertically.
If i go additionally another 5 units horizontally and 4 units vertically, the coordinate of the point should show 0.1 gpm/sq.ft horizontally ((5+5)*0.01) and 900 sq.ft. ((5+4)*100) vertically.
Setting any one unit, makes the other unit very small or very big. How to set independent units for x and y axis?
Soliciting your advise and support.
