TGA of Ash

04/23/2012 5:58 AM

i am working on thermal degradation behavior of ash of bark in which i am concerned with the degradation steps of ash mean which substance degrade first and then next. i just know the composition of ash . can someone explain the degradation behavior of ash thanks

What type of bark?

When you say degrade, I am assume you mean using Pyrolysis.

First determine what the bark is composed of? Each species of bark has different characteristics.

We use a spectrum analysis, and there are well over 200 components?

But when you say ash, it depends on the process you use, to creat the ash.

For you to find out, you'll have to hire it done.

Do you mean thermogravimetric analysis of ash?

Any test lab can perform this for you. If you pay them.
