This Generaotr having 5oo KVA will give 400 KWH power at 0.8 power factor. The consyumption for the 500 KVA is 102 liters per hr. Specific consumption based on per KWH is 0.25 liters per hr

Power generation using fuels depends on two factors. The calorific value of the fuel used and the conversion efficiency of the engine-generator. Normally LPG gas has a calorific value of app 7500 k. cal/kg or more. One kg of LPG gas produces 9 kwh. Considering an engine efficiency of 70% for gas engines, the power generation per kg of LPG gas is 6.3 kwh. Ofcourse, you have to convert the kg of gas to volume by using molecular weight. Similarly HSD will have app 10,000 K.Cal per kg and will produce app 12 kwh per kg of fuel. Considering an engine efficeincy of 60%, you will produce app 7.3 kwh of power. Once again, divide the weight by density of HSD to get in liters. First of all get the correct calorific values of the fuesl you want to use. The above figures are approximations
