Impedance Tube Kit

hello everyone,

i have an experiment about sound absorber.i'm looking for the best material for impedance tube kit. of course its must be rigid and massive. what do you think about glass or brass? is it good?

Use 2 concentric pvc pipes, fill with fine sand or water in between , cheap and good..
