A "Test" button (if any) only tests the function of the mechanical components in the trip and contact mechanisms. It simply bypasses the sensing elements and their function. It does nothing to check the accuracy of the sensing elements.

Are you referring to RCCD's and not MCCB's?

I have asked for you to be deleted entirely, I'll let the CR4 admin decide on how (I am far too creative and have access to commercial explosives).

The method is current inject to test or celebrate the MCB or MCCB , by pressing the test button you can check only the mechanical function .
