BSP Thread Gauge

I am v.d.deodhar. Would like to know for bspt (taperthread) & bsp (parall thread) which thread gauge shuold be used? I feel, it is as follows. For bspt taper internal thread gauge is iso-7 or is 8999. For bsp parall internal thred gauge is iso228 is it correct?
