IHS Closes Acquisition of GlobalSpec

IHS Inc. (NYSE:IHS), the leading global source of information and analysis, today announced it has completed the closing of its acquisition of GlobalSpec, Inc., the leading specialized vertical search, product information and global access point providing critical digital information tied to key Product Engineering and Design workflows for seven million engineers, from Warburg Pincus LLC for $135 million.

IHS Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jerre Stead and senior leadership will discuss details about the GlobalSpec acquisition and provide updated guidance for 2012 on a call set for 4:30 pm EDT, July 11, 2012. No information is allowed until the conference call...We need a few people to log on to the call to gather info....Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to log on to this conference call, make a note of any info you may hear regarding Cr4, and report back here.....out

I'd like to help, but my day job keeps getting in the way.

I hope someone will monitor this, but I doubt CR4 will come up.

Agreed but sometimes they let questions at the end, a tactful person might inquire at some point into the questioning, in a lull, for any plans regarding on-line presence, and perhaps specifically Cr4....

That was the goal, to break it in the first place. Ironic.

CR4 is just an appendix and I don't think it will be operated on nor be removed or changed. It's a fine example of communication between friends and was worth every minute I have spent here.
