ASME Sec IX-QW 404.9

Please describe clearly ASME Sec IX, QW 404.9 for SAW with example.

What I understand is change in brand name also require requalification.(for Ex.DWEKAM TO ESAB or Vice versa).Is it correct or not.

Please explain me.
