Water Treatment Plant

hello, i am a mechanical engineer. now i am working as a proposal engineer in a water treatment plant company. is it worthy for mechanical engineer to work as a proposal engineer?

anyone please suggest me.

If you enjoy it and find it rewarding then it's fine.
At one stage in my early career I was pushed from electronics test/design into a role as a Quality Assurance engineer. I hated it and moved on to an electronics design job after a while.
I realised the QA job wasn't for me when I wrote a report saying a project wasn't up to standard for delivery, but the senior management delivered it anyway!
You have to make your own decisions, but, I'd say you should give any job at least 6 months to year to really see how you and job are suited.
I think 'worthy' is an odd adjective to use, but it's probably a cultural usage thing.
I hope you find a satisfying job somewhere.
