Cathodic Protection

08/05/2012 1:30 AM

In a Ship's Hull with two reference electrode for Cathodic protection.I want to know the reason Why one electrode is producing less voltage and less current than the other electrode's and what is reason the current is falling back to almost zero and producing frequent overvoltage alarms?

Sounds like you may have an electrical fault, if you get more current from one electrode then that means it's being syphoned off to ground somewhere else in the system. Verify all electrical systems.

Simple. The one that is producing alarms is the one that has almost fully dissolved.
