I'm sorry but I'm Curious as to what "Sour Service" is. Do you mean "Sewer Service" meaning disposal of waste service?

Sour service refers to the oil and gas industry, and applications that have to deal with "Sour Gas" coming out of the ground.

Sour service basically means that you have a fluid with a certain amount of H2S, in terms of partial pressure, and you have water.

The Sour Service requirements for materials selection and testing are contained in the NACE MR 0175 / ISO 15156 1-3 for Oil & Gas , Upstream facilities and NACE MR 103 for refireries and chemical plants.

In these statndard you'll find all the information regarding the test and requirements for materials.

Hope this help

regards

Vitt
