Old CEGB Standard

I don't suppose any of the UK respondents have a copy of the old CEGB standard 98111, which I believe later became GDCD 176. This was a standard for a thermowell in a high pressure steam line.

If so, I would be very grateful for a copy.

Wow, that'll be a dusty relic. The Central Electricity Generating Board closed in 1990, 22 years ago, at a time when the file extension pdf was barely a gleam in Adobe's eye.

I am Mike Blount ex Bush Beach Engineering.

I started my own company many years ago Thermo Devices. I sold it to E&H but worked for them for many years.

I am now working in the USA for a fantastic Temperature company 180 years old...!!

Palmer Wahl Asheville. I am the VP.

i can give you full manufacturing details of all 4 of the CEGB thermowells....Screwed and Welded...
