Ambient Temperature

What will be happened while a motor using in 60 dec instead of its designed temperature of 50dec ?

The motor's self-cooling will be less effective.

The motor should be appropriately de-rated. Else the insulation life of the motor would reduce drastically.

And the "rule of thumb" on that is 50% of the insulation life is lost for every 10°C rise over rated temperature.
