Do you know what the letters NGR and NCT stand for?

Since it is in the EE section, may we assume that they are electrical terms?

Well they both have the letter "N".

Could you possibly give us a little context about these six letters. We have no idea where these six letters come from because you have not told us where they come from. For all we know your trying to compare the National Comedy Theater and the Next Generation Racing at an electrical engineering forum. Now "NGR" can be a couple of common electrical engineering terms but I am not going to guess what either of these acronyms stand for. You, sharanabasava1, must communicate with us better than you have or accept becoming the brunt of our jokes.

In the UK Narrow Gauge Railways are on average 2'¼" and Nottingham City Transport use 4'8½" for their tramways. So the difference would be 2'8¼".

If these abbreviations are what I would normally expect to see in relation to each other (Neutral Grounding Resistor and Neutral Current Transformer), the full name gives you the difference. The NGR is a resistor, which is used to limit fault current in the event of a ground fault in a wye electrical system. The NCT is a current transformer used to measure that fault current in the neutral, so that your protective equipment (relays and circuit breakers) can disconnect your faulted equipment from the rest of the system when a ground fault occurs.

What drawings? At the time of this reply the OP has yet to return with any useful information about any of the three threads started by the OP.

There are 3 kinds of relays for Earth fault, namely restricted, standby and another whose name I can't recollect.

NGR is Neutral Groundig Resistor

NGT is Neutral Grounding Transformer

And... the difference is one is a resistor and the other is a transformer.

Never Generate Revenue is a sure recipe for bankruptcy. Unlike Now Cash This will allow you to pay the bills but end up with less personal property.

For those who insist on a electrical engineering absurdity...

Network Greatly Reduced versus Network Constant Traffic for proper design to reducing communication collisions.

So where do I send my consultancy bill?
