Geez, it's already hard enough to take apart anything inside your car to repair it. I can just imagine if it's all glued together. Just throw it out & buy a new car?
That's a good point. I suppose you could use a hot melt glue in temperate climates so that you could change parts, but it's just not practical in deserts. Also, think how easy it would be to steal parts from someone else's car if hot melt were used.
