I need a wiring diagram for a 250 watt hps light, the ballast has no x3 connection, the starter has x1, x2, x3. I connected the x1s and x2s ballast to starter, the x3 on starter to light socket the lamp will not light. Thanks for any help.

thanks for your comments on the 250 w hps wiring diagram. i went to many wiring diagram sites. i have not found a diagram for a 250 hps ballast with no x3 connection. the 250 w. lights, with no wiring diagram, were removed from a case to install metal halide lighting. please help thanks
