Earthing a Distriputed Control System

05/21/2007 2:30 AM

We Have Installed a new Distriputed Control System and I want to get as detailed information as possible about :

1- How can we establish a new good earthing system to our DCS (what are the recommended standard to follow and how can we get this standard .)

2- How can we evaluate our currently used earthing .

3- what is the relationship between the DCS earthing and the earthing of the uninterruptable power supply feeding the DCS with electricity.

Do you have particular problems related to earthing?

Noise, failures, or safety issues?

Describe the system in general.
